“[Homeopathy] is a practice that will help patients who wish to understand and work through their illnesses to a deeper and subtler level, leading to better health for themselves, our environment and our future.”

The Consultation Process

The Consultation - note taking

The initial consultation lasts around one and a half hours, either in-person or online.

In addition to your specific reason for consulting me, I will ask about your medical history and how life has treated you. This is key to successful homeopathic prescribing.

A diagnosis from your doctor or specialist provides much valuable information so please seek this. However, to the homeopath this is not your whole story.

Usually, after the consultation I will take a little time to reflect and research your case before prescribing.

Homeopathy in practice is a little like a game of chess with the life force that animates you. A well selected remedy (medicine) should ideally provoke a response and alter your symptom picture. This guides the next prescription. Sometimes it is best to wait and watch.

Follow-up appointments are of shorter duration – usually of 45-60 minutes – and typically at an interval of 4-8 weeks.

I will work with you in an honest and non-judgemental manner. My task is to understand the whole person you are, and not just your specific illness / disease or diagnosis.  I want to hear your story.

All that you share is held in strict confidence and in accordance with my privacy policy.

How many Consultations

For conditions that are long standing, it takes time for the full picture to emerge. Please allow for at least two follow-up appointments.

A single consultation is not a good use of your hard-earned money. I wish it were otherwise. As it is said, ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’.

Homeopathy is a process of retuning to bring about healing and not just symptom management which is often the focus of orthodox medicine.

Gradually, you should see a return to harmony and well-being. This takes some time, as a rule-of-thumb perhaps one third of the duration of your suffering

The Cost

Consultations cost £65 (initial) and £45 (follow-up) to include subsequent analysis and feedback. These can be booked online.

Where remedies ordered and sent by post from the homeopathic pharmacy, a small additional charge may apply (around £10-£12). The cost may be less if I stock the remedy.

Reduced Cost Packages

As a trial, I also offer two packages giving a 15% reduction:

Package 1 – Initial plus two follow-up consultations for £130

Package 2 – Three follow-up consultations for £115

For Package 1, please first take advantage of the FREE 30-minute discovery call: Book Discovery Call.

And before requesting Package 2, you should already have had an Initial Consultation with me.

Clever as the ‘Timely’ booking software is, you cannot book these packages yourself within ‘Timely’ and I have to act as intermediary, so if either is of interest please email me at [email protected]

First Steps

Prior to any first consultation, please book a 30-minute discovery call. This is free of charge.

This short call allows me to understand your needs, and advise on the suitablility of homeopathy for your condition. It is also an opportunity for you to meet me (WhatsApp or other video option may be helpful but not essential).

Following this conversation, a full consultation can be arranged at a mutually convenient time. Where I judge your needs beyond my expertise I may be able to point you in the direction of a trusted colleague.

If the booking system and modern technology confuses you, then you have my sympathies! So, please send me an email ([email protected]) with your contact details and your availability and I will respond as soon as possible.

GP Prescribed Medicines

Ethically, I cannot alter any prescription from your GP or another healthcare professional (e.g. GP). This is solely a matter between yourself and the prescriber.
