I am a graduate of Salisbury Homeopathy College holding a licentiate diploma to practice classical homeopathy.
Additionally, I have attended courses at the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy in Alonnissos, Greece and the Bengal Allen Medical Institute in Calcutta.
My interest in homeopathy reaches back some thirty years when I researched a family health issue.
Prior to my studies in homeopathy I had a career in industry as a chartered chemical engineer.
As a professional homeopath I am registered with the Society of Homeopaths, and adhere to their Code of Ethics and Practice.
I practise from my home in Dibden Purlieu near Hythe, Southampton.
Who are you? Who are we as human beings?
These may seem a strange questions, and ones not much considered despite the sophistication of modern medicine and science.
Are we just a collection of molecules, a super-sophisticated chemical factory?
I suggest not; for one thing we are not machines, we are alive!
To homeopaths this means that there exists an invisible life force, which finds expression in how you are feeling today. If you doubt this, you may care to reflect on the fact that a dead body has no symptoms!
In homeopathy the totality of your symptoms (mental, emotional, physical) is a signpost to healing. Homeopathy is a (w)holistic therapy, because of the emphasis it places on this symptom totality.
“Without the vital force the material organism is unable to feel, or act, or maintain itself – without the vital force, it decomposes, reverting to its chemical constituents.”
Dr Samuel Hahnemann (Aphorism 10, Organon of Medicine, translated Künzli J, 1989 Victor Gollanz Ltd.)
